Working Together

These terms establish clear expectations for our working relationship. I believe in honest communication, mutual respect, and delivering quality work. By engaging my services, you're agreeing to work within this framework that protects both of us.

I operate according to principles of fairness and integrity. All services are structured to be lawful, ethical, and beneficial to all parties involved.

1. Services & Scope

What I Offer

I provide technical consulting, custom software development, marketing automation setup, AI integration, and strategic advisory services for marketing agencies and service providers. Every engagement begins with a free consultation to understand your needs and determine the right approach.

What I Don't Offer

• • Services involving gambling, alcohol, explicit content, or any activities prohibited by Islamic principles
• • Deceptive marketing practices, spam automation, or manipulative tactics
• • Emergency or "drop everything" urgent support (I work with clear scope and planning)
• • Generic templates or cookie-cutter solutions (everything is thoughtfully custom-built)

2. How We Work Together

Free Consultation First

Every engagement starts with a strategic consultation where we discuss your challenges, explore potential solutions, and determine if we're a good fit. No obligation, no pressure. If I can't help you effectively, I'll tell you honestly.

Communication Style

I work best with async-first communication (email, documented discussions) and scheduled meetings when needed. This allows for thoughtful responses and clear documentation. I typically respond within 24-48 hours during business days.

Limited Availability

I work with 2-3 clients at a time to ensure each project receives proper attention. If I'm at capacity, you'll be added to a priority list. Quality over quantity, always.

3. Payment & Pricing

Transparent Pricing

Pricing is determined after the free consultation based on project scope, complexity, and timeline. You'll receive a clear proposal with no hidden fees. All prices are agreed upon in writing before work begins.

Payment Structure

• • Project-Based Work: 50% upfront, 50% upon completion
• • Ongoing Partnerships: Monthly invoicing with payment due within 7 days
• • Hourly/Daily Work: Invoiced after completion with detailed time tracking

No Interest or Prohibited Charges

In accordance with Islamic principles, I do not charge interest (riba) on late payments. However, consistent late payments may result in pausing work until the account is settled. Payment plans can be arranged upfront if needed.

4. Intellectual Property & Ownership

What You Own

Upon full payment, you own all custom code, designs, and materials created specifically for your project. This includes documentation, configurations, and project-specific assets.

What I Retain

• • Reusable code libraries, frameworks, and tools I've developed independently
• • General methodologies, processes, and expertise gained
• • Right to showcase work in portfolio (with your permission and without revealing confidential information)

Third-Party Tools

If we use third-party software (like Mautic, N8N, or other open-source tools), those remain under their respective licenses. I'll clearly document which components are third-party vs. custom-built.

5. Confidentiality & Trust

I treat your business information, strategies, and data with complete confidentiality. I will not share, sell, or disclose your information to third parties without explicit permission, except when required by law.

Likewise, I expect you to respect any proprietary methods, processes, or tools I share during our work together. Trust is foundational to a good partnership.

6. Revisions & Scope Changes

Included Revisions

Each project includes a reasonable number of revisions to ensure the final deliverable meets your needs. "Reasonable" means refining what was agreed upon—not changing the fundamental scope.

Scope Creep

If you request features or changes beyond the original scope, we'll discuss it openly. Additional work requires a new agreement and adjusted pricing. I'll always notify you before doing out-of-scope work.

Change Requests

Major changes during a project may affect timeline and cost. I'll provide updated estimates before proceeding. The goal is flexibility without compromising quality or fairness.

7. Warranties & Limitations

What I Guarantee

• • Work will be completed with professional skill and care
• • Code will be functional and meet agreed-upon specifications at delivery
• • Bug fixes for issues present at delivery (typically 30 days post-launch)

What I Don't Guarantee

• • Specific business outcomes (more clients, revenue, etc.) — I provide the tools, you use them
• • Uptime or performance of third-party services (hosting, APIs, external tools)
• • Compatibility with future software updates beyond our control

Limitation of Liability

My liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service. I am not responsible for indirect damages, lost profits, or business interruption beyond the direct cost of the service provided.

8. Termination

You Can Cancel

For ongoing partnerships, you can cancel with 30 days' notice. For project work, cancellation before completion requires payment for work completed to date. Deposits are non-refundable once work begins.

I Can Cancel

I reserve the right to terminate our agreement if:

• • Payment is consistently late (beyond agreed-upon terms)
• • The project involves unethical or prohibited practices
• • Communication becomes disrespectful or the relationship is no longer productive

If I terminate due to my own reasons (not related to your conduct), you'll receive a refund for any undelivered work.

9. Dispute Resolution

If a disagreement arises, I believe in resolving it through honest, respectful conversation first. Most issues can be solved by talking them through.

If we can't resolve a dispute directly, we agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action. I prefer solutions that preserve dignity and fairness for everyone involved.

Any legal disputes will be governed by the laws of your jurisdiction and handled in local courts.

10. Ethical Standards

I conduct business according to principles of honesty, transparency, and mutual benefit. This includes:

• • No deceptive practices in marketing or sales
• • No involvement in activities that harm individuals or communities
• • No participation in exploitative business models
• • Respect for user privacy and data protection

If I discover that work is being used for unethical purposes, I reserve the right to terminate the relationship and withdraw support.

11. Changes to These Terms

I may update these terms occasionally to reflect changes in my services or legal requirements. I'll notify active clients of significant changes via email at least 30 days in advance.
